At Concord Place Memory Care kindness and a love of animals has no age limit! On May 7, residents hosted a community lemonade stand to support the Little River Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Visitors enjoyed refreshing drinks and had the chance to meet Benny, a special turtle who is unable to return to the wild.
“This fundraiser gives our residents a joyful way to connect with the community while supporting a cause they truly care about,” said Lorie Ann Wilson, life engagement director for Concord Place. “Every cup of lemonade represents compassion, purpose, and the shared desire to make a difference.”
