Residents enjoyed taking a coffee break with members of their local police stations in Wichita. It was "Coffee with a Cop Day" and, yes, donuts were included! "Our residents had stimulating conversations about issues that matter and it gave them a chance to learn more about what they do for our community," Erin Cernik, life engagement director for Chisholm Place, told Channel 12 News who covered the event. "Making new friends is an added bonus," she said.
