Reviews of Willowbrook Place Memory Care in Littleton, CO

Reviews are very important to us and are the best way to let others know if our team has provided you with a great experience.

Willowbrook is a really beautiful Memory Care community that strives to make every residents’ “twilight walk” as comfortable and home-like as possible. The staff is patient and caring and kind and the daily activities are fun and engaging. They truly understand that people with Dementia need a purpose and reason to leave their room and things to do during the day. We are so happy to have our family member here. We moved mom out of a previous memory care facility on the other side of town, over to Willowbrook so that we would have her closer…it has been wonderful in every way. Our family can visit much more often because she’s so close and I actually WANT to go see her because the community and staff are so welcoming. Additionally, they offer support groups and seminars to understand Dementia better and learn more as someone involved in mom’s care. We are so grateful for Willowbrook.

I first found Willowbrook during the pandemic. I followed their social media account and saw how creative and supportive they were of their residents during the quarantine, which was no easy task. When it was time for me to find a memory care facility for Dad with dementia, Willowbrook was one of the first places I toured. After touring 6 other places I realized how amazing Willowbrook is compared to others. Their facility is designed in a circle so residents can walk continually and not get "stuck or lost." The activities they have daily are varied and suitable for any level of capability. The ratio of staff per resident is wonderful, and they are so well trained. They are able to handle dementia behaviors in such a a caring way. Not to mention the additional staff of physical and occupational therapists also, all in house. Anna spent 2 hours with me, interviewing me and asking about my Dad's care needs. On my tour, two different residents told me how happy they were to live there. I ultimately needed to put my Dad somewhere else because he has Type II Diabetes. Willowbrook has excellent medication management, but can't do insulin injections at this time. If medical needs were not an issue, I would have chosen Willowbrook hands down. Anna has continued to help me with support groups and Dementia education which has been phenomenal. What I've learned has helped me to be a more compassionate caregiver and has equipped me. I'm so grateful.
