Our people show up for residents.
This is how we show up for them.

The Employee Resource Fund is how Anthem helps when life gets hard outside of work.

Mission

Anthem’s mission commits to a loving, compassionate environment that supports the growth and well-being of every individual who works, visits and lives within our communities. Residents have that. Families have that. The Employee Resource Fund is the third one.

A song of praise to the people who serve our residents

The Anthem flame stands for the individual spirit and the community spirit alike, a song of loyalty to the people who live in these communities and to those who work in service of them. Our employees have carried that through hard seasons, some of them far harder than a job should ask. This fund is how we carry something back.

In Partnership with SHORE

SHORE, an independent nonprofit, raises the money, holds it, reviews every request confidentially, and pays the grants. Anthem Memory Care established the fund and champions it.

What the fund is.

The Employee Resource Fund helps Anthem Memory Care employees through sudden hardship they did not see coming and could not prevent. A death in the family. A fire or a flood. A medical emergency. A car lost to an accident. A housing crisis outside their control.

Who it is for

Anthem employees, in every department and every community. Caregivers and nurses, cooks and housekeepers, drivers, maintenance, activities and office staff.

What it is for

Emergencies, not everyday bills. The fund exists for the things nobody plans for and nobody can absorb on their own.

What it is

A gift, not a loan. Nothing is repaid, nothing is deducted from a paycheck, and nothing is expected in return.

What it protects

Memory care asks for someone’s full attention. A crisis at home takes some of that, however good they are at the job. Help that arrives in days rather than weeks gives people their footing back.

Give back to the people
who give the most.

100%

Of your gift becomes a grant

Anthem pays SHORE directly to administer the fund, so every dollar donated goes to an employee.

1–3 days

Is the usual decision time

Most requests are answered within one to three business days, and urgent situations can be flagged to move faster.

$500

Is the usual grant

Grants are generally capped at $500 per qualifying event.

Make a gift

A full grant is $500. Larger gifts help more than one person.

SHORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 87-4154948. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
